Esta lista de resistencia química de los cauchos a diferentes substancias se ha completado siguiendo literatura relevante (ISO TR 7620-2005 y otras). Esta lista debe considerarse una guía de recomendación de uso, pero para una mayor seguridad en el criterio es recomendable realizar ensayos del elastomero en la substancia.
